Common Practices:
XaaS: Allows organizations to capture the costs of equipment, support, licenses, and device management into a simple cost per unit. Ideal for scanners and wearables. Most XaaS contracts allow for early termination and even cancellations of a portion of the solution. XaaS is often treated as an expense, off-balance sheet.
Pay-Per-Use & Consumption: This is a great way to only pay when you use your asset. Price per label for an industrial printer or price per scan for a handheld. If we can verify use by transaction or time we can customize a billing methodology that works best for our clients.
Capital Leases: Better suited for conveyor systems and Put Walls.
